PART I: Two-Hour Presentation
(1) Two-Hour Presentation Student Assessment
AE
Why?
I thoroughly answered my EQ and gave very specific examples to answers. My activities were fun and really tied into what I had taught. I also used all my own photos for the room decoration, made little camera center pieces for the tables, and color coded all the groups. It was very creative and all the information was really valid and very good. I had great sources, which were referenced throughout as well. I spoke clearly and did not trip over my words or use "um" and words such as that a lot. Overall, I feel it was a very good presentation and I feel exceeded the expectations of the rubric.
(2) What are you most proud of in your 2 hour presentation and why?
I am most proud of the way I presented and spoke. I was clear and did not stumble, which I was not sure I would be able to do. I used my notes to assist me but I did not read off them, and I did not forget anything. I really was proud of myself, because I did not think I would be that confident and able to present as well as I did.
PART II: Overall Senior Project Experience
(3) What do you think you did well on in the project? What could you have done better? Please explain.
I think I did the best in time management, understanding my topic and the independent component.
I was always on top of I what I needed to have done and never turned in anything late.
I feel I did really good in understanding my topic and essential question as well. I went into much deeper aspects of commercial photography, I did not just keep it technical, like about lighting, I went into consumer psychology and interpersonal relationships, etc. I also really knew my information and learned a lot more.
My independent component was really good too, because I was able to apply everything I had learned, and all of my answers to my photo shoots. My pictures were really good and my skills grew immensely throughout the year, which is really a plus.
(4) What is your EQ and what is the best answer to your EQ?
EQ: What is most important when taking a relevant commercial photograph?
Best Answer: Knowing Your Audience
(5) How has the last month of culminating events (e.g I-Search, Two-Hour, Exit etc) affected your answer to your EQ? Has it changed? Why or why not?
My answer did not change, however, the way I decided to present it changed, and I gathered much more examples to support my claim.
(6) What suggestions do you have in order to improve the senior project?
Nothing really
(7) Overall Senior Project Assessment
AE
Why?
I took this project very seriously all year long and I not only learned a lot, I grew in photography skills and applied them to artwork during this school year and to my future, in jobs I will have and schools I will apply to. I learned a lot, had great research and contacts, a strong creative expression and presentation. The whole project was a lot of fun for me and helped me so much, in everything I will do related to photography. I turned in everything on time, used a lot of creativity, had really good information and tried really hard all throughout this year to have my project come out as well as it did.

LIA Service Learning
Literal
•
• Peggy Cartwright-(909)652-6115
Interpretive
The most important thing I gained from service learning was good connections and references. Ms. Cartwright is allowing me to use her as a reference for future jobs I may apply for, as well as referring me to a paid photo job last December. This helps a lot, because having a credible reference is very important in industry of commercial photography
Applied
This helped answer my EQ by giving me my second answer, maintaining positive interpersonal relationships. I was able to work many different kinds of people, and work together well, which helped me realize that if I can't always bee on good terms with who i am working with, then I will have a hard time getting the shot needed. It also helped me a bit in my best answer, know your audience, because with each shoot or event I attended, I always had a different audience I needed to appeal to.

Independent Component 2
Literal: I, Heidi Eckvahl, affirm that I completed my independent component, which represents 30 hours of work.
For my independent task, I have been taking photographs, not only for my 2 hour but for the ifest botth, as well.
Interpretive:
I have some of my work on my Flickr site, which you can see by clicking here. I also put some on facebook, but those ones are private.
I am turning my log of hours to Mr. Ogden on April 29, 2011.
It may not seem like it takes so much to do a shoot bu there are many things you must do first, such as; build up the set, prepare the models, take the pictures and afterward; take down the set and then go through and pick the good shots and edit them.
Applied:
This help answered my EQ because I was able to take different techniques I had learned and try them out on my own. I also had a lot more fashion and product shoots, this semester which helped my develop my technique and style a lot more, making my vision more clear than before.
